Formed from a remarkable collision of musical taste and a tangle of blonde locks, Remembering August are a duo steadily captivating intimate audiences across Wales. Delving deep into the music folklore, there’s a Stevie Nicks/ Lyndsay Buckingham chemistry which generates a combination of mystery, charm and passion. From a isolated lodge, deep in the wooded valleys of South Wales, the duo hand-crafted a series of songs sending listeners on a journey through heartbreak, loss and the young exciting times of modern life.
Discovered by Ed Sheeran collaborator, Amy Wadge, who instantly connected with the duo and travelled deep into the valleys to cast her magic over the much-laboured and loved songs. The result ends up sounding intimate, intriguing and intuitive and like your first kiss, makes you fall in love all over again. Songs that are from the heart fuelled by passion, but hidden within are dark and deep stories waiting to be uncovered.
Their debut EP has already been released independently and is available for sale through iTunes. With an accompanying launch show and a run of dates across South Wales to follow, the release has seen a hand-loved limited edition of the physical EP as well as released digitally across digital download retailers.
